 The Youth House was built by the "Förderwerk Jugendzelt e.V" Trust. It is maintained and rented through this trust.

Accommodation available


The following rooms are available for users:

  • 2 dormitories each with 6 beds
  • 1 kitchen with fridge, gas cooker, crockery and cutlery
  • 1 large meeting room for max. 40 people
  • 1 smaller meeting room for max. 20 people
  • 1 wash room with 2 showers
  • 2 toilets

The house has gas heating.

Electrical power is provided by a generator.

Activities available in the area

Hiking, Cycling, Golf, Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Skittles, Swimming, Minigolf.

Boat trips on the Rhine and Moselle rivers.

Visits to the local 'Rhenser' Mineral Water Spring and bottling plant, the Königsbacher Brewery and wine tasting with local growers.

Visits to Stolzenfels Castle, Marksburg Castle and to the city of Koblenz. In addition the cities of Cologne, Bonn, Mainz and Frankfurt may easily be reached on day trips.

Local Festivals in Rhens include: Rhine in Flames ( 2nd Weekend in August )

Wine Festival ( 2nd Weekend in September )
